Sycon Power Kitz

SYCON Power Kitz controller controls the capacitor switching with a ‘best fit algorithm’. First the accurate power factor is computed with four quadrant power factor measurement method. Considering the target power factor and current power factor, required capacitive KVAR is computed. From all the available capacitors (capacitor recently turned OFF are not considered as they are discharging), the best combination is computed and switched ON.

This mode of operation ensures the best use of all the capacitors to achieve the power factor which is nearest to the target power factor.
