Earth Leakage Protection
SYCON Earth Leakage Relays continuously monitor earth leakage current using an externally mounted CBCT (Core Balance Current Transformer). Current-carrying cables from single-phase or three-phase supplies are passed through the CBCT, which detects the level of earth leakage current. The relay trips the connected system when the leakage current reaches the set value and the set tripping time is reached.
