Fast Capacitor Switching for Dynamic Loads
In electrical systems with dynamic loads, the power factor and load can vary rapidly. SYCON Thyristor Capacitor Switches provide fast capacitor switching using ZVS (Zero Voltage Switching) technology. The switching method ensures zero inrush current through the capacitor. The switches also provide built-in over-voltage and over-current protection and status indication for the thyristor module.
